WeDJ is an amazing and free platform that’s perfect for all DJs! Whether you’re just starting out on your musical journey or you’re a pro with plenty of experience, there’s something here for you. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, meet new friends, and get hands-on with the latest DJ gear, music production tools, sound systems, and lighting technology. You can join fun workshops, engage with industry experts, and explore innovative techniques that will elevate your skills to the next level!

WeDJ 2025 is organised by the renowned West End DJ and on the rise DJ academy led by Terry Hooligan.

WeDJ runs over two days showcasing new and current products. From DJ speakers to flight cases, headphones, and the latest CDJs and turntables, you name it. It not only showcases equipment but also offers discounts on-site and special deals. The event hosts various talks centered on professional DJs and getting into DJing. These talks are delivered by professionals with over 20 to 30 years, if not more, of experience in London nightlife and international DJing. From nightclub DJs to record labels, they provide advice on how to get in, manage your bookings, improve your production skills, and effectively manage your online presence on social media.

DJing used to be a simple concept of two turntables and a mixer, but now the game has drastically changed. We have everything from built-in controllers with all your software on Wi-Fi and in the cloud to library management in Rekordbox and Serato. Both beginner and professional DJs now have to promote themselves online and maintain their social media presence, so a significant portion of this event focused on talks and panel discussions covering content creation and exposure for new DJs. It’s not easy to establish a name without experience, and discussions also revolved around how to get into venues, event companies, and labels, as well as how influencing can secure you bookings in various event industries.

Many of our professional London DJs from the agency side of our business attended the event. You might see DJ Matman, Ambo Magic, DJ Vek, and Shom in the pictures; they came to check out the new tech and try out the features of the Pioneer 3000s on Rekordbox, even scratching with Terry Hooligan on the Technics 1210 MK7.

WeDJ was located underneath Lake Street tunnel arches, surrounded by vibrant graffiti artwork and the scratch nerds outside cutting away. Look out next year for WeDJ 2026, where they will once again demonstrate all the new tech and present new ways for beginner DJs to become professionals and for experienced DJs to stay current in today’s ever-evolving London events industry.

We suggest looking out for the 2026 event; this is a great opportunity for DJs and people who work in music. DJing brings people together on the dancefloor through music sets, and sometimes DJs themselves don’t get to connect with other DJs. This is a chaance to do so. We always say, meet more DJs and make friends. When you are friends, you build trust, and then more DJs pass gigs to one another as friendships grow. Beginner or professional, if you’re reading this article, attend WEDJ 2026; it’s worth it!
