Looking to host event with a Karaoke DJ?

The image attached is taken at another venue where they have a portable TV, but at yours, you can use your big projector screen from the HDMI at the DJ booth.

The Karaoke will work as follows:

How does it work?

A Karaoke Song catalogue is provided – The program software list can be sent in advance for clients who wish to request songs ahead of time.

DJ brings:

  • Additional mixer and sound mixer to plug into the venue’s system
  • Two wireless microphones plus a host microphone
  • Laptop with Karaoke software
  • Multiple binders/folders of song catalogue printed on paper along with many pens
  • Printed sheets/template of Word documents can be emailed to venues to place their logo & branding on the sheets for guests to write their songs

The DJ arrives with printed sheets that customers can browse through, organized in multiple binders.

Guests enter their song names on the paper clipboard list, and individuals are called in the order of the list consecutively.

Karaoke involves my continuous active hosting, coordinating guest singers in time, and possibly interval DJ sets (depending on whether the client books an additional DJ set).

Host management in real-time of volume controls on my part is essential due to varying volumes among guest singers that need to be adjusted live during the active songs.

Group karaoke is a party service that is becoming increasingly popular each year among corporate clients.

Venues that have screens, speakers, and DJ decks are £300 for 3 hours of karaoke – £350 for 4 hours.
