About and our side:
The DJ hire gig was passed from event management GEMS for their client an African Investment Bank who had requested an African Christmas Party DJ Set.
The Christmas Party DJ set up was to be minimal as the downstairs restaurant at Tredwells is a small venue.
Set up at 4 pm as guests were arriving at 6 pm. The venue is located in the heart of Covent Garden so parking was restricted, in this circumstance the hired DJ had to arrive by taxi with their equipment.
Set up at 6 pm and the guests arrived, client was happy with the restaurant background music for the dinner. The DJ was not asked to play until 9.30pm as timings ran over.
Warmed up with smooth classic disco whilst the tables were cleared in the venue to make way for the dance then commercial charts to 80s along with Afrobeats mixed in.
