about MATMAN
Matman is an internationally acclaimed multi-award winning DJ based in London. An open-format DJ with a foundation in Hip Hop & advanced turntable skills, DJ Matman specialises in weaving together fast-paced sets incorporating tasteful selections of Funk, Soul, Reggae, Disco, R’n’B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Garage, D’n’B, House, and more.
With over 16 years of club-rocking experience now under his belt, DJ Matman initially made a name for himself entering DJ contests. On this battlefield he earned the titles of European Turntable Techniques Champion, UK DMC Supremacy Champion / world finalist, and ITF UK Champion / world finalist. This means he’s pretty darn good at scratching and coming up with clever mixes.

Matman is a highly skilled DMC competition DJ, there are genuinely not many DJs in London even around the world who have mastered the craft of DJing the way he has. DJ Matman is a true artist with no question of doubt who can rock corporate galas with 80s, Disco and current floor filler Bruno Mars, Kungs Chic, Aretha Franklyns and so on in a way that you won’t forget.
Showstopping DJing
We must emphasise that this DJ is a showstopper DJ who performs body tricks, clever mixes and crafty scratches. We thinks he fits very well at trade events and we ideally like to place him at exhibitions events for example product launches food festivals, gym events, corporate galas and so on (and not small office or house parties). If you are looking for a little bit of a cheesy party set – ABBA Ricky Martin, Five for example we would say his skills would be somewhat wasted however, we do have alternative DJs who will play such sets.
